Gaithersburg Comedy Club Looking for a New Home

The mall is closing, and the comedy club hasn't found a new home yet.

GAITHERSBURG - Lakeforest Mall is weeks away from closing, and the comedy theater hasn't found a new home yet.

The entire mall is scheduled to be shuttered completely in March. On Sunday, a person working at the theater said that they have yet to find a new location for the comedy theater company. It's called Best Medicine Rep Theater Company.

They asked if I knew any millionaires willing to throw money at them, but unfortunately, I don't know any millionaires. But if you know someone who can help this Gaithersburg theater company find a new home, you should get in touch with them. They have contact information posted on their website bestmedicinerep.org.

The comedy theater has been going since 2016. According to their website, their mission is, "dedicated to the artistic, educational, and cultural development of Gaithersburg and Montgomery Village." Founded by John Morogiello and others in 2016, the company has been doing shows consistently every year.

If the theater doesn't find a new home before March, that will certainly be a problem for Morogiello, his theater, and for laughing in Gaithersburg.
